Michael Rex recovered from a serious traumatic brain injury early in his life. That experience taught him how easily a complicated human experience can be reduced to a diagnosis, a form, or a few lines in a record.
The lesson reaches far beyond brain injury cases. An injury claim may involve limitations that were never captured during a medical appointment. An insurance dispute may turn on facts missing from an estimate, claim note, or denial letter. In either kind of case, important parts of the story can disappear unless someone knows to look for them.
Rex begins with the records, evidence, and policy language, but he does not stop there. He asks what changed, what has been overlooked, and what additional evidence may be needed to make your story clear.

Outside the Office
Outside the office, Rex plays basketball with more confidence than the box score always supports, reads enough history to derail an otherwise normal conversation, and relaxes through activities—like skiing and dirt biking—that generally require both a helmet and a waiver. He lives in Denver with his dog, Lucy, whose role at Rex Legal is unofficial but plainly senior.
